🚩 On October 11, 2025, the second transnational project meeting (TPM2) took place on the project “Adapted Badminton for People with Special Needs” (Project number: 101183764 – SPECIALRACKET), funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Program 🇪🇺 The meeting was hosted by Aps Asd Margherita Sport e Vita 🇮🇹 and brought together representatives from all the organizations in the consortium, including Бадминтон клуб Ракет Спийд (Bulgaria) 🇧🇬 and Hellenic Powerlifting – Ελληνικό Σωματείο Δυναμικού Τριάθλου (Greece) 🇬🇷
👉 Agenda of the meeting:
The event started with a presentation of the results achieved by the partners and a discussion of the upcoming activities of the project, such as the development of the training program and the guide for parents of children with special needs. Topics such as the adaptation of the methodology and the quality of the project outcomes were also in the spotlight.
All partners were represented by their coaching for adapted badminton, who actively participated in the exchange of best practices and ideas for the future development of project activities and also by their project team. Their contribution to the creation of the training program is extremely important for the successful integration of badminton as a means of social inclusion for people with special needs. 🙌
👉 Practical part:
The afternoon part of the meeting included a practical adapted badminton training session, in which 10 athletes with special needs from Italy participated. 🇮🇹 The training was led by the coaches and demonstrated the use of adapted methods and techniques for including children and young people with special needs in sports activities. 🏸💪
The event concluded with a coffee break, during which participants had the opportunity to discuss impressions and experiences, exchanging ideas for the future development of the project. ☕️

With the joint efforts of all organizations, the project will be key for the social integration of people with special needs through sports.
